How do you score on the new IR35 Test
The intermediaries legislation, commonly known as IR35, is intended to prevent individual from seeking to reduce the tax and national insurance bill by supplying services through an intermediary business entity(most often a company, but in some cases a partnership), rather than directly employed by their clients. HMRC recently released new guidance which is designed to help determine whether a business engagement falls within the scope of IR35.
